Revisiting an older blog about a story idea: What if your longevity was directly connected to the deaths of others on this planet? What if the recent disasters that have struck China, Myanmar, Indonesia, the Midwestern US, etc - and the deaths from the wars and guerrilla actions occurring as we speak - prolongs your life - gives you youth-gives you vitality? Would you want to live that way? Would you continue living knowing it is dependent on the deaths of hundreds or thousands of people?

What if there were only one of you? Would that make a difference? What if there were more of you, and you could never know their motivations? What ethical values could you hold if your life depended on deaths?
